I have created a player character for D&D 5e based on Grizzo Gremlin. She is a Celestial Warlock/Rogue multiclass.
Grizzo was born of a romantic tryst between her goblin mother and her fae father, thus she is a hybrid: a gremlin. Her mother was not ready to raise a child, and so Grizzo spent many years with her father in the fae realm... before being kicked out for being too communist. She returned to the woods to live with her goblin family, now many years older in spirit but not in appearance than her mother. Luckily, time works different in the fae realm so what was hundred of years to Grizzo was only a decade or so to those in the mortal realm.
She learnt the ways of subtle sneakery from her mother, who adored her and raised her with love and earthy kindness. It was a different world than the ethereal nature of the fae. She got into all sorts of mischief which sometimes got her into more serious trouble - like that time she poked a horse without a permit.
Given her fae heritage, she outlived her mother and after some years staying to tend to new generations in her clan eventually decided to move on and travel the world. On her travels she treated and injured unicorn and earnt the favour of Lurue, who became her patron and granted her magical powers. Her travel companion is Tango, a lovely if clumsy dragonborn whom she met after being accidentally stepped on whilst napping on the forest floor.
